There are two types of C5C cords: 2-wires for monitoring and 4-wires for testing. For each type there are three different configurations: Plug-Plug, Plug-Wire and Plug-Banana.
They provide access to circuits for testing, monitoring and temporary or permanent patching. The cords can bridge or tap into circuits (without circuit interruption) for passive monitoring or they can also be configured to provide break access.
