The IFC Splicing Shelf (FibrBoss-IS) provides an interfacility cable (IFC) splicing platform for transitioning outdoor cable to indoor cable and connectorized assemblies.

 

It uses the same basic fiber routing procedures found in the Tyco Electronics FOSC 400 line of closures to reliably and economically manage fiber in fiber distribution frames.

The shelf is designed to fit in a standard Tyco Electronics rack as well as other metric (ETSI) and 19" racks.
